It is disheartening to think about progress stalling or reversing after so much work has gone into moving things forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, we choose to hold onto optimism. History tends to move in cycles, and we believe that what goes around comes around. We remain hopeful that karma will swing back in our favor, that fairer, more sensible policy will find its way back to the table, and that the setbacks we may face now are temporary chapters rather than the end of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
